I think you should come early this year.

 

My winter wardrobe is a little tired,

and I'm officially ready for cute dresses

and impractical shoes.  These snowbanks

& cold windy days are killing me.

everyone loves a sale

 Last week the handsome guy talked me

into buying the most gorgeous white

coat for winter.  It was priced pretty darn

well but we used our mad deal-making

skills to talk them down another 20% 

due to some missing buttons.  Sa-weet!

So now the search is on for cute 

buttons...and my supermodel pose

since apparently that's what you do in

a white coat!  ;)  Happy weekend!

the house.  But alas, I can't

When I noticed this lovely coat,

air on this very busy day!

But writing that makes me 

wonder if that might reflect more 

on my day than the coat...

I've been longing to find

glitz for the Christmas season.

Perhaps I should settle for a

pretty wreath like this one instead.  

It might be more practical, and I bet

more people would get to see it

I just bought this coat on super sale

last weekend at Old Navy and 

I can't get enough of it.  It's cheerful

and perfect with jeans and flats, 

but looks great with work clothes too.

Now I just need to invent a reason 

to dress up so I can wear it with a fun 

outfit and heels!  Any ideas?

I think this green coat is adorable.

I am completely enamored with 

bright colors and neutral tights these

days, and love this cheerful coat and

shoes combo! Not to gush, but I

think the sweet polka dot scarf might

put the whole thing right over the top.

Just saying.  :)

In my quest to learn to love fall,

I've decided that great clothes will

play a large role in this love affair.

For instance - my fabulous new

jacket.  It goes with everything and 

makes me feel like a million bucks.

Also key - scarves.  I've been

helplessly hooked on scarves for 

a while now, and pairing them with 

the killer new jacket is like a

recipe for instant happiness.

This past summer, I've been all about 

skirts, and have loved having my work style be 

so easy (and comfy!) for my favorite of all seasons.

Because when push comes to shove,

no one should even really be working in the

summertime, but that's another whole story.

Anyway, to make a long short short,

I've been pondering how to transition into

fall and drag all my skirts along with me.

And thankgoodness, here's just the 

justification I needed!

And please don't neglect noticing

her super fabulous shoes.  

Because I'm drooling a little.  

Okay, a lot.
