busy, continued.

Life has been so busy lately around these 

parts.  I feel like someone hit the fast-forward

button and every day is just blurring by, 

which is total craziness.  It's been a struggle

to just take every day on its own without

being completely overwhelmed, but

God has been so faithful to provide the

peace and rest I need.  Psalm 16 has been

a huge source of joy & strength lately - 

go check it out if you could use some too.

This week has been crazy for me at work,

and I'm feeling extra grateful for my sweet 

hubs and how kind he is to his tired girl. 

No matter how late I get home from the

office or how overwhelmed I feel about all

the unfinished projects, he's endlessly patient

with his love, encouragement and hugs.  

So despite the tiredness and busyness,

I am feeling pretty blessed.  Because at

the end of the day - and thankfully there's 

always an end, no matter how long the day - 

I get to go home to my wonderful man.  

And then it's all ok.  :)

stay cool.

It's been a nutty, busy day around these parts, 

so I figured this was a good reminder.

1. It's been a busy couple of days.  I've been 

delivering & installing lots of art (and 

spending tons of time in the car) for work, 

so it's weird to be back at my desk 

and in front of my computer again.  

2.  This furry dude makes me smile.

3. The handsome man and I are officially 

packing like crazy people now.  Every spare 

few minutes we're filling boxes and 

planning our next attack.  No bookshelf, 

nick-nack, or spare dish is safe!

4.  Pinterest = craziness.  I definitely don't

have spare time to play there...and yet

I do.  A lot.  Are you there yet?

5. Not only has my lovely Sister switched

up her blog address & format, she 

posted about my most beautiful bridal 

shower!  Go take a peek!

Sorry for the air silence -

it's been a busy week, folks.

 Work is more than a little crazy,

the boy & I are adjusting back 

into school routines and schedules,

and to top it off, I'm prepping to 

teach this weekend at church!

But isn't this sculpture pretty?

I know, I'm being random.

It's part of our new show,

and I've been enjoying how

elegant & lovely it is.

Well, and lusting over it a little bit.

all day long - you want to take it all home!

Today feels like a bit of a blur.

Certainly not bad, 

but a little extra busy.

Sometimes I like these days

that fly by, but other times they

overwhelm me a little.

From how my closet looked this morning, I think it's been a busy week.

On one hand, this horrifies me. (I dislike mess.)

On the other hand, look at all the pretty shoes! (I really, really like shoes.)
