rainy day wishes

 This rainy day makes me wish I was 

home cozied up inside our little apartment.

On my dream list of things to do:

 1.  A long, hot bath.  (And I'd like my
bathroom to look like this one!)

2.  Read something.  I've been craving a

quiet reading day for a while now.

3.  Baking adventure.  I'd like time to 

experiment with all these tempting recipes.

4. Nap with hubs.  Always a great

way to spend an afternoon.

to me today.  Sometimes I think Fridays

were meant for naps in the sunshine!

Last night we cozied up by a toasty little 

fire and spent our entire Thursday 

evening being quiet and lazy - the perfect 

end to a rainy, cold day! 

 Three cheers for my handsome man

who braved the rain to find us 

firewood - being able to snuggle up

by a fire was such a treat!

Wow...what I wouldn't give to go take

a deliciously long and relaxing soak 

in this tub!  That bathroom is so pretty, 

that I fear I would spend all my 

time in there if it were mine!

There's nothing better than
a nice big cup of coffee
to start the day.

It smells good,
makes my tastebuds happy,
is warm and comforting,
and is just plain ol' relaxing!

Today it's supposed to be uncharacteristically warm and sunny - and I can't wait to get outside and soak up as much of it as possible!

Other things on the docket? Prayer with my peeps, cleaning out my car, buying a ham, and getting ready to host a little Easter celebration at our place tomorrow!
