One of my favorite things to do these days is laundry.
Our dryer is on the fritz, so several mornings a week
I wash a load of dirty clothes then hang the clean,
damp things out on a line to dry. I find great joy in
carefully hanging them one by one, then clipping
securely with the smooth wooden clothespins.
There's something wonderful about starting off
the day with such a routine, quiet task. It's nice to
be outside in the sunshine, and I love knowing that
doing something so simple is a practical way to
daily love on my handsome husband.
